Thanks crumpet!

To be honest i like gloss black, its just if u paint the 250s people get suss and think i have dropped it etc etc, and theres money involved that i most likely not get back. But thanks for you suggestions though metal triumph i appreciate it! :kuda:

BTW ive also thought of getting a TYGA kit for 1.2K ....then it'll be like a 4 cyclinder with updated fairings
When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...

blame it on the NInja 250....

cheap, new and looks fast. so very popular, even if it is a GPX in ZX6 clothing.

I agree selling learner bikes atm is tough as there is so much to choose from and so cheap like above the new ninja 250 and even cheaper the cbr 125.

Sold my wifes yellow zx2r in a day.....
Yellow bike had us getting calls all day for every day it was on bikesales.

We did sell it cheapish though, advertised it for $4500, sold it for $4300.

It was also in farkin brilliant condition (I hated the yellow). It had obviously been made from a few different bikes and had been dropped by her and re-painted. But still....

Problem as i see it is that your bike, no matter how good, just isnt pretty enough.
Give it something gawdy that makes it stand out and youll move it.

Had a couple of false starts trying to sell my old gpx750.
Forums, nothing.
ebay, got some guy that bidded on it, but the guy pulled out after the auction closed as his wife didn't like it and his wanker "expert" friend tried bullshitting this bullshitter to knock my price down. So basically he used 1001 excuses and dicked me about for over a week and a half (and delayed my purchase accordingly). Got him booted off ebay.
bikesales.com.au. submitted the advert thursday night, was put online Sat 8:45am, got a phone call at 8:55am. Got a deposit that night and sold it 2 days later.

GL with your sale and the navy gpx punk!! :kuda: you should be fine its just the learner market is screwed up with those ninja250s as mentioned. Apparently zx6rs are hard to sell as well
