brand new but eager!!!!

Post by NinjaGirl »

:D :D :D Hi guys, great idea to have an L plate section, I'm sure I'll be in here all the time looking for tips from the more experienced among us. I've introduced myself in the 'Introduction' area so here I am in here now :kuda: Thanks to everyone that replied with a warm welcome.

I'm a complete novice and bought my baby Ninja to encourage me to finally do this. I have to learn now, 'cos I have to pay it off and it's driving me mad sitting in the garage lol. I've had it for 3 weeks and haven't been on it yet. I had a bit of a bad experience at a Q Ride place a couple of years ago that put the wind up me, and never went back :( so I've also bought a cheap trail bike to ride on my boyfriend's acreage. I need some practice with balance before I attempt my bike, 'cos I seriously don't want to drop it. I'm not going to let my fear discourage me though, I've been a pillion for more years than I care to remember and it's about time I got my own licence.

Anyway, it's a nice long Easter weekend so I'll be zipping around on the grass, then next week, it's the kawa or bust. Will keep you posted and I'm sure I'll have LOTS of questions... :D

Good luck with the riding this weekend, you have worked out a great way for a transition into road riding, it makes so much sense 8)

Good lunch with the riding, you are gonna love it!
Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ...Holy shit...What a ride!
