What should I do?????????

Post by smithy5 »

A couple of years ago I was looking to upgrade my 01' ZZR1100 to an 06' ZX14R....... But as I also wanted to get into track days and I couldn't justify two bikes (so I was told  ), I got an 07' ZX10R. However not wanting to throw $13K worth of bike around the track, I later also ended up getting a cheap trackie ;)

Anyway, my question now is, should I keep the 10 or get the 14 ?

The reason I ask is, I found a nice 14 and I have been offered a good deal on the exchange. I'm loving the 10, but come Motogp later in the year a 3,000 klm trip, i'm going to wish I had the 14...............What do you reckon I should I do ?????????

You planning on doing long hauls apart from the gp? Seems exessive getting a 14 just for one trip.
If not just htfu and tough the trip out ;)

Keep the 10. A 14 will feel like a barge to you. The 14 is a nice bike but 3,000 km should not be an issue on the 10. Check out a temporary after market seat to ease your sore arse. Of course you could buy the 14 and keep the 10 and tow it on a trailer behind the 14, or better yet buy a Harley then you can plow the fields as well. Have yourself a pint of Jim Beam and all will be clear, especially with a beer.
