back and front light out?? help

Hey guys

My girls GPX250 currently is having a little trouble. I just want to know if this is a expensive fix or cheap one when I take it to someone to fix

Basically the front and back light are not on when the bike is turned on.. except when you break, the backlight comes on (only being your breaking), and when you put the high beans on the front, it works.... (only while you have the high bean switch on)

so im a little confused in whats going on. Not sure if its a wire problem or what??

Any help from the experts???

maybe just a blown low beam on the front and tail light on the rear? I'd replace the tail light globe first (easiest and cheapest to do) although you should be able to tell just by looking at it i.e are both filaments intact?

see there are 2 filaments,(the two horizontal lines at the top of the bulb) one is tail light and the other is brake light, if you only have one intact that's your problem

+1 above, maybe check the fuse?

Sounds like a simple globe replacement to fix................. but just make sure you have the motor running, not sure about the GPX but with many models the lights won't come on until the motor is running

replace both as one of the filaments in each has gone...

Sounds like a fuse to me. High bean and brake lights will be seperate fuse to other lights.
