Re: My 2010 Z Plans
On the subject of the Zeddy though. I love the green with the Akra as well, althogh the stock can looks good short. As much as I'd hate to do it to a brand new Akra I can't help thinking it would look brilliant as a shorty. What would it look like without the plastics etc on the bottom. The main thing I don't like about the stock exhaust is the big square Cat just in front of the back wheel. Doesn't look right.
The more I look at these though the more I think they are a sensational looking bike. Lucky Bastards.

It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

BTW, Akro claim a 16hp increase with the full system.... not like i need more power outta the thing!!

Just gone over 1000km on her now, and averages 190-195km before the fuel light is on. Seems about right... Kawasaki claim the light comes on at 2.25ltrs remaining, and when i have to fill at this point, im putting about 11-12 litres in.Dunny wrote:whats the mileage like with the new tank capacity
Even in the car, i get nervous when the fuel gauge shows 1/4 to empty. (im guessing its from when i had a 6.0litre V8 diesel in my landcruiser back in my car days, that ran out of fuel on the M4 in peek hour with 1/4 still showing on gauge)
Re: My 2010 Z Plans
That's it... I wiped out my ZRX early this year and havent been able to make up my mind on replacing it with another Rex or lining up for the new Z1. The photos here have helped to make my mind up... They claim the Z1 has an improved midrange. Does it deliver?
