new rear tyre fitted

Post by waynemorgan »

Had my new rear tyre fitted today - Pirelli City Demon. Looks much better than my old Dunlop which lasted 8000kms so will be interesting to see how it goes.

Bought it at MS Motorcycle Repairs - corner of Cranebrook and Londonderry Rd. Michael supplied and fitted the tyre, adjusted the chain and greased the axle - for $170.

I found him very good to deal with. He's pretty busy there but I'm happy with his prices and service. :D
I don't like the term insane - I prefer mentally hilarious!

8000KM and it was worn enuf to replace? shouldn't have any trouble beating that with the city demon rear :) done > 5000KM on mine and just starting to not see the wavy marker thing in the centre tread, but then the city demon isn't meant to be grip king :)
