Motorcycle Parking

Post by Jennysc »

Hi,

Does anyone use the free m/c parking in Pitt street, under the monorail pylons? I thought I might try riding in for my jury duty but don't want to get stuck with no spot. I'd be there about 8.30am....... too late, do you think ??

According to the website there should be 17 spots.

The main point is to get in early.

(prior to 8am works well) .. and earlier if you wnat to get right next to pilon so you don't have other bikes on either side of you.

Caught the train in this morning (forgot about ringing and checking if they needed me, they didn't so I got sent home :( ) and I had to stand the whole way in the smelly hot carriage. I'd forgotten what peak hour on the train was like !!

And footpaths are one of the very few speed camera free zones at this stage :)

I've been selected :( but have decided to train it in. I get an allowance and I don't have to be there until 9.30, bit of a long wait if I have to get the bike in before 8am !!
