
A man has died after his motorbike collided with a truck on the NSW Central Coast.
The 46-year-old man from Woy Woy died at the scene of the accident near Newcastle at 11.40am (AEDT) on Friday.
The collision is believed to have happened when the motorbike did a U-turn on George Downes Drive in Bucketty, police say.
A 48-year-old female pillion passenger, also from Woy Woy, was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, where she's in a stable condition.
The 35-year-old truck driver from Hamlyn Terrace was not injured. He was taken to Gosford Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
George Downes Drive was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.
