HOW DID KAWASAKI BECOME GREEN?

hmmm dont know, i heard a different story...
back when kawasaki started racing, they were the last group to get on board, as far as i know. They thought it would be a good idea to stand out. Best way to do this, was to paint their bikes green. Green on the track back then meant back luck, and for some time were successful.
Seems like the luck finally caught up to them

I think they originally referred to the colour as "the colour of defiance" because everyone thought it was bad luck and they went "screw you hippy we're going Green". Cool story, unfortunately it seems to have panned out not so well in recent times
