The 10 was in consideration for quite a while - but after riding both, the 9 does it for me better
I like the more upright position (coming off the ZZR and the Boulevard before that) I like the feel of the big bulky tank - it's a light bike, but still feels substantial between your legs and felt like it handled so much nicer than the ZZR. I want something that I can ride - and be comfortable on either down the shops, up the twisties or away for the weekend.. the 9 seemed to be the best comprimise of sporty / touring that I found, whilst still being green (lime green is hard core after all ).
Another quote from an earlier test just to seal the deal .
The Ninja is great on the road and no doubt one of the fastest road-burners on the market, but it would not make a great track tool. The 600 set, Blade and R1 are faster on the track. Road riding is of course a different matter and the tides turn in favour of the ZX-9R. Where do you ride most ?

Mostly on the road - but I have the 6 for the track anyways ... looks like its a done deal.... Im excited!!
There faster than most of the zx10r's and zx6's on here around Eastern Creek... - 1.40 / 41
I'm only 1 or 2 seconds faster on my 10 than I was on my 98 zx9r.. - but unfortunately I'm not getting any younger, so that doesn't help....

zx6r, zx7r, GPX750, GPX500, lots of KX's.
I ride way too fast to worry about cholesterol
Likes: Lighter than my ZZR600 with 300 more cc, good accelration, great seating position, sensational sports tourers, Dislikes: that acceleration, well not that I dislike it, but it can and does get me in some shit at times Seat not that comfortable for long distance riding, if going touring I recommend an Air Hawk You're bum will love you for it after 300km or so.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"
