My suggestion is: Just do the longer rides. Its tough going to begin with, but after a while, you HTFU and then you dont notice it.

Maybe you aren't on the bike right? If you are gripping the tank with your legs and taking a bit of weight on the footpegs it protects the bum. The legs get bloody tired but you can train them up.

so ride 100k's at 120 gripping the tank and standing up. id have legs like a speed skater at the vancouver olympics. no offense mate :)

Reedy, the idea is you take some weight on your wrists, some on your knees and some on your arse. This balances everything out and causes less pain in any area. If you also move around a little it stops aches and pains from lack of mevement - do the movements before it starts to get uncomfortable.

Says he with a Sargent seat AND an Airhawk! :shock: You should be able to ride from here to the moon without a sore arse with that combo.
