CBR600RR v ZX6R

Post by Reedy »

Went to the bike shop to check out the new 09 honda 600rr, its the next step but they didnt have the equiv of the zx6r. Jump on the honda for the test ride its pretty sweet. The research ive been doing is the hondas the easiest ride the kawa has the hard ass seat (i havent riden it) and the daytona is cheap but better.

Any thoughts? could go the 1 but for the long rides and i really dont think i need that much power after riding the honda.

250-1k is a bad idea. Go a 600, or a z750 if you're not addicted to tupperware. The kwaka will be entertaining for longer than the honda, ie more exciting, and if the seat is too hard, get a corbin one. :D

IMHO the H*nda is bland - has very little character. The ZX6 is full of it - character that is ;) And they both have similar seats after half an hour in the saddle.

Although I must say the 09 version was waaaay better than the 08 in my experience.

In all honesty, I really rate the Trumpet. That engine is sweet for road use but the ride position is more extreme.
