Public Menace: Scooters/Mopeds in BrisVegas

Post by Z1000 »

Hi all,

I have been constantly getting madder over the past couple of weeks with the number of Scooter/Mopeds that cannot PARK! I park in Brisbane City during the day and can't these pricks understand that in order to get on my bike I need some space, not much on the left hand side of the bike? There are even lines painted now in Brisbane Motorcycle parking areas, one for each bike! I think its really rude because I leave a little space (on the left hand side) to get past the mirrors etc so as not to touch someone else's pride and joy and then one of these things pushes itself between me and the other guy or girl. My bike doesn't have a center stand! I have at times moved them in order to get to my bike as well.

I am thinking of running with some type of site or campaign against these things. They are not allowed on the South East Freeway up here in Brisbane but each day I see one of them putting along at 70-80kmph with half the cars in Brisbane behind it. Not to mention they are just simply rude, dumb, ignorant of the road rules and any etiquette whatsoever. If you are in Brisbane and feel the same way drop me a line and we will see what we can come up with... I have had enough of this shit! :x

If it's in your way move it and lay it down so it won't be in danger of falling over...

Mopeds are just a form of transport to these areholes & they couldn't give a shit about your bike.
The last time I parked in the city one of these arseholes actually had his shitbox leaning on my bike & left a nice little scuff that wouldn't buff out.
Needless to say I felt much better after scratched the word "cunt" into his shitbox with my key

Get close enough to a scooter rider as he is just getting off his bike and bitch slap him. It won't achieve much in the long run, but it will make you feel better!

we have had an explosion of scooter-trash down here lately, and they do exactly the same thing !! jam their piss-ant shitheaps in between bikes that are leaning on side-stands......either that, or they park in such a way as to take up 2 spots instead of one !!! that really shits me.

:?

move them to where they are parked illegally. that way they have to go find it and if the rangers are on their game (and they usually are) the will have a nice ticket as well.

a small piece of something (rock, stick etc) in the valve cap then screw it on enough to depress the valve is a good trick too. its quick and easy and you can walk away with a smile on your face while their tire is deflating.

or keep one of those valve removers in your pocket and take the valve while your at it  that way when they push it to the servo, they will spend 1/2 hour wondering why the tyre wont hold air

If there are marked lines it really is quite rude to push intobetween two bikes, leaving a threatening note on thier bike may also make them more aware
Let the good times roll.
