T and I might meet you  I just don't wanna back track to much, so would like an idea of the route for us northerners (craigieburn)....

cheers
Logic would predict Maroondah Hwy to Melba Hwy and up to Yea, but it's not my ride.
Can anybody get in touch with the organiser???

WOW  here I was thinking 4 pages of positive talk and only one more sleep, this might actually happen, rubber on bitumen in VIC

but alas my hopes have been dashed   The rot has started  The question now remains how many if any, will make the last ride in VIC for 2009.or is it the first ride

and I think we also need to establish how many riders you need before it is classed as a ride ;) ;)

2 will do - at least Tony, Scotty and a few others will make it.

BTW, we went for a ride yesterday in the rain - bit further than usual in fact

G'day Mick.
Been out all day so just got your post.
From Craigieburn, looking at the Melways, I reckon best place to meet is at Yarra Glen, but having said that I know SFA about roads in the area. Give me a bell on 0417-038 281 if you want to meet along the route.
I was thinking - Maccas, up Maroondah Hwy, thru Lilydale to Yarra Glen, to Glenburn, take a left there and in the back way to Yea.
Smoko at Yea and then thru Alexandra to Eildon. Bite to eat and the back down the Black Spur to Healsville. Then there's a choice of roads back to where-ever anyone wants to go (home?).
From my point of view, I'm not planning a master blaster as there's both too many holiday idiots and too much enforcement on the roads.
Forecast is good so good to go.
Cheers,
Tony

Dream on bro :kuda:
This one's happening!
As long as it's only rubber on the bitumen then it'll be a good ride. ;)
Seeya  tomorrow night over the piccies.

Hi all, thanks for the welcomes.

Reading back now I see that I was only focusing on the one ride that I missed. Unfortunately wont be going on any rides this week as (1) I am working, but more importantly (2) the missus was due to drop out a bub on the 27th (now overdue and isn't she thrilled about that!), so I need to be around for that (apparently she doesn't appreciate the value of riding over being there for the birth?) :)
