Oh, i seem to notice that most ZRX owners here tend to like the M3's. Really, its a personal choice. Both tyres will give you more confidence once you fit a matching pair.

Both Nelso and Rod have the Greg Couch brace. I have also got some of his stuff on mine. Quality product at a decent price. The brace makes a big difference - I must admit I was a little sceptical if it would make much difference.............I'm now a believer

BUT - despite what some may say, suspension mods is money VERY WELL SPENT. Its not cheap - but good stuff rarely is

I regard them helpful since I intend to do some real long tours involving more than a day's ride. If I can wake up the next day without a sore butt and aching calf muscle, I can put some more Kms on that day's riding

Yeah, I have heard very good things about suspension mods, from people who have done it. Enjoying something for which you have worked hard and saved, gives a +100 enjoyment boost So yeah, first things first for me....save some more money If I don't see me doing any long trips any time soon, I would rather put my money on the Ohlins.

Would picking up Ohlins from zrxoa be fine enough or should I go for brand new ones?

I guess you have to weigh up the difference between new cost and second hand cost - thats your call. BUT id someone on the ZRXOA had some at a reasonable price that would be an option. I have had dealings with several members and never had a problem.

BTW, I have extra padding in the seat and its fine. Helps with the leg bend and padding issue. Saying that I have - on several occasions - done 1600K's+ in 2 days with the OE seat, not alot of HWY/FWY in that either, mainly twisties. Only problem was my dodgy knee getting stiff.

I just got more padding added, none was removed. I used one of the site sponsors - VCM Cycle seats http://www.vcmcycleseats.com.au/ to do it. I also had mine redone in genuine leather, not vinyl so I have no idea how much it would cost to just have the padding done.

Yeah had my seat redone a few years back, added 1" High density foam all over & cut the ridge back 11/2" so I had room to move back on the seat.
All finished in Connelly leather as used in Jaguars, helps when your mates an upholsterer

Oi Phil - looks like ya nicked two girders off the bridge for the forks - I've searched and can find no threads on fork changeovers, etc - whats the goss!

Did the mods prior to the GP, can't get them here anymore - Cramer even checked with his mate who works at the factory. Had to source them from Japan Probably worked out the same by the time you add freight and paypal fees etc.

That's not an answer. We want the gruesome details - they look like Ohlins. How do they compare to the stockers, braking improved - you know, a full blow by blow ride report.

Yes, they are, in a different world, no improvement in the braking dept, the blow by blow bit happens as soon as I walk into the garage
