camping at WSBK

Post by JD01 »

I'm planning on riding down for the supers, so I had a look on the web site and it says F.A. So I thought I would ask you guys.
on the booking form it has $99 for camping but does not say if that is per day or the whole event (I'm guessing per day)
can you bring your own grog into the camp area?
the dates are 26-28, I thought it went for 4 days
can I turn up early or does the camp grounds only open on the day it starts?

Thanks

Camping cost covers from Thursday night to Monday midday. Grog is not officially permitted, but no-one checks on entering the camp sites, only to the race track itself. For MotoGP last year I rode in with a slab of beer in my tent bag and a bottle of Jimmy in my tank bag. Came in useful for the first couple of days :partyman:

When I was there 2 years ago for moto gp I reckon you could have driven in with a bar all hooked up and operating on the back of a ute and they probably wouldn't have looked twice, sounds like they've tightened up a bit :)
