Nothing intellegent

Post by oldman »

Greetings from the land of the mentally challenged, (the U.S.). I have been following your writings for some time and find that you are more in line with my thinking than the uptight arse holes in my country. I ride a 2004 Z1000 with PCIII, full Muzzy, airbox mod and modified plastics, (due to a crash). Feel free to insult and degrade me as I have been married 4 times and am used to it, (a total of 43 years). Above all else remember that a good shot and a brew make all things clear.

hi oldman, and welcome. Your bike sounds almost identical to mine :D Is it a titanium system muzzy? if so, do you get a buzzing noise from the pipes at all? I love my bike, but there's an annoying buzz that no-one can determine the cause of, I reckon it may be exhaust gaskets, but don't want to go digging to replace them if I don't have to. I'm going to pull the tank etc. off soon, and re-go over looking for loose bits.

You would think I would learn, but at 64, (years old) I am still riding at a very fast pace, (for me) so I guess not. I finally met a ladie that will put up with my mental idiosyncrazys, which are many so we decided for finacial reasons only, to get married. I have the stainless Muzzy's with the carbon fiber can. i have only put 20 miles, (about 33km) on the pipes as the weather in Utah right now is about 17 degrees F, which is really cold so after insatallation a 20 minute ride was all I could stand. When I have riden further I wil post the results.

Welcome aboard. Glad to see at least one person in the Ewe Ess of Aye has a sense of humor about everything (and especially themselves), I've been over your side and your right, far too much "straight laced"ness over there. and 17'F, ouch, your more game than i am.

yeh Rob - the mid-west states have suffered an enormous cold-snap over the last week or 2, some temps have dropped down to -24deg and as low as -36deg C !!!    farking cold .....heaps of snow and wind as well. Basically - entirely shitty weather for riding...

Welcome aboard oldman - I recognise that handle from a few forums (I am guessing you are on more than this one ?)

G'day and welcome oldman...........

You sure you aren't part Aussie ?........ You call Yanks mentally challenged and you realise that a brew makes everything clear, that's how Aussies think....

And wow, 4 marriages, you must be rich or you drink too many brews and haven't learnt your lesson yet..........
