Toy Run (VIC)

Post by climbatize »

Anyone there today? Saw a bike or two that looked familiar, at Williamstown, only from seeing the photos on this website. The ride down the monash, (from cranny), was painful. To say the very least. Did we even get up to 80km/h? I remember a couple of semis roaring past me, (30-40 km/h more than I was doing), and being shit scared. The Cranbourne meet had heavy police escort shit going on and I really wish they had let the riders use another lane. Obviously, if you had any respect you would stay in the far right lane with the rest of the bikes but it did get frustrating.

Anyway, anyone who was there please but some photos up. I was very disappointed to only see 2 ZX7Rs there!

The first group I met with in Fountain Gate, Narre, was only about 7 or 8 bikes, and the biggest kudos, all day, go to this bloke on the bike with a 'made in Tennessee' 350 Chev.. complete with 400 HP! Far from kwaka.. but.. hell.. it's a 350 with two gears!

Saw an Elmo and a Monster on the Melbourne run too, yeah I was there, I organised it, led the crew from Melton-Willy, marshalled and helped set it up and clean it up so wasn't gonna miss it :)

There was light drizzle in Cranbourne for about 5 minutes when we left but it was a miracle it didn't piss down. The sky was as black as dogs guts in some directions.
