I know I just bought it but my bike has developed a squeak/squeal in the front end, I am suspecting it may be a wheel bearing, any idea how to check and does anyone know the bearing number (I have quite a few bearing lying around due to having sold bearings for years)?
Thanks
Ben

Re: squeal in front end ZX6RR 03
Do they have a speedo drive on the front wheel?
Spent heaps trying to get rid of a squeal on the ZZR and it turned out to be the bloody speedo cable

no speedo drive on the front wheel if the 636's.
at a guess i'd say wheel bearings, or have you fitted ned pads recently?
or are old ones toast?

pads were checked relatively recently but will pull them off and check myself, the sqeal is not constant but almost like it is at a certain poin in the rotation - hence at high speeds it is not really audible
