Hi guys anyone tell me if its possible to swap a 05 engine with a 07 engine..My bike has 140000kms still runs good but saw a 07 on ebay so interested cheers

i think engine covers were different. that was about it. i dont see why now, as long as you got the ecu and keys and stuff.

thanx for the feedback...motor comes with everything except key...will need to contact kawasaki abt this...Anyone no if expensive?..

unless you have the red kawa key, you cant get anymore cut, i remember talking to a guy from honda about the price of replacing the key if you lose it, it aint cheap, you have to buy a whole new ignition barrel etc and he said it costs about 2200 dollars, which aint cool

Why do you need the key for the new engine? can't you use your existing ignition? fits tanks & seat too. Would a zx10 engine fit?
