New Trackie - take 2

Post by macca »

This is the 6 that was on ebay not so long ago and went for cheap with a few people here watching.... its now mine, yippee :kuda:

Much nicer than "Scarlett", my previous attempt at a trackie... this one's a 1994 ZX6 bare bones trackbike. It arrived tonight, and will probably need fuel before anything else.. its very dry...

Will get a few things looked at and then coming soon to a track day near you :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda:

Anyone got any guesses as to what this pipe may be, no markings on it anywhere, could be anything.....

Nice pick up Macca - that pipe could also be an Omrae ?? that looks like a much better bike to take out on track days than the little GPz.....

So the consensus is that it might be a megacycle.. not that it really matters that much, it sounds ok and it's in one piece.. doesnt really matter if its made from Jim Beam cans but sometimes its nice to know what things are in case we need bits...

After it's pink respray I'll see you at the track :)

Oi you, that's enough of that. I couldn't help it, it was a Suzuki, I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!!!

And anyway, Dave3 predicted the explosion, and I put it all back together again :).

Well, an exhaust made out of Jimmy cans would be pretty cool :kuda:

Congrats on the newest addition to the family. There's nothing like a 6 8)

Yeah I know, it's fun though, and it lasted the whole day last time it went out.

Back on topic though, Macca already said I can have a go, she's pretty good like that. And this one will be perfect for next year's Phillip Island trip :kuda:.
