Fuckenell. The KH is coming back
How did that happen?
It better be going green.
OK, what should I get in return guys? An Ohlins steering dampener?

Wobbly - do you feel used now? He only sold it to you so you could do his work for him after all
Oh wait - I'll shut up now. Dave's being nice to me at the moment

Actually he sold it Ponti who in turn swapped it for an 86 GPZ250R with a beer box for a fairing.ty wrote:Wobbly - do you feel used now? He only sold it to you so you could do his work for him after all

Re: KH100 Project- From Wreck to Racer NOW SOLD!
Just found this thread, sweet! I have started a bucket project myself with a kv100 ( I know the ag model
) but have a half decent motor, fame, some forks and the wheels( 19 inch front
).What are the alloy wheels off? are they just late Kh ones? Now on the hunt for a rg exhaust and measure up some rear sets by copying the photos!
and still need lots of parts so let me know if you have em and want to sell em

Re: KH100 Project- From Wreck to Racer NOW SOLD!
Just missed out friend.
Whole box and dice now moved on to another KH enthusiast. Total of 9 engines plus numerous boxes of sundries.
KV is usable. Engine mounts for the KE and KH are interchangeable. Problem with the KV is the Hi Lo output and being able to source suitable gearing.
KV frame is stronger and has a longer wheel base and if you are willing and able then swap the front end for a Z250 and bolt in Z250 rear wheel. Keep the KV head and barrels matched to a KE bottom end ( closer gearing ) and get them ported. Rebuild the crank with a Yamaha KT100J rod and piston. Fit a late 70's / early 80's KX80 ignition. TM 28 flatslide for bucket racing - VM 25 roundslide for period and modify the disc. Stronger clutch by pretensioning using an additional steel plate or 2..............Otherwise buckets are easy
Talk to Dave3 he has one.......
