Williamstown...the new St Kilda?

Post by Strika »

Is Williamstown the new St Kilda?

I have lived in Spotswood and Williamstown for four years. Over this time I have noticed an ever increasing number of bikes down here on Sunny weekends. It's the usual St Kilda crowd, with raked out custom harleys with obnoxiously loud pipes to lowered Busas with extended swingarms, as well as the middle ground of normal bike riders.

Of course, with all this also comes the wankers! So far in the last few days of warmer Melbourne weather (read Sunshine and 20c), i've already seen a tool on his gixxer, in shorts, singlet, runners, no gloves, near the rev limiter in 1st, but not accelerating!!! Plus a wanker on a Harley with what must have been straight pipes, gassing it, then backing off, so he could hear the noise bounce off the buildings.  It deadset hurt my fucking ears!! And again today, I just watched another turd on a GSXR go past with shorts and a hoodie, loud pipe at what I estimate to be 10,000rpm or thereabouts!   Fucktard!

This is all just from standing out the front of my house for 3 mins this afternoon and one walk down to the shops and back yesterday! So god knows how many more wankers there are about the place? I'll bet the Williamstown boys in blue will start paying attention soon.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

Sounds like it might be, Marty...although a similar scene continues to be played out on Chapel St - when I was there last week I lost count of the number of wannabes doing happy laps and parking outside Sienna!

Chapel st will ALWAYS be like that I reckon Col, Chapel st happens to be a young females paradise for all the clothes boutiques, this also has the effect of attracting the neanderthals in their rice burners and such ilk. Williamstown however was more for the grey jetset to spend their money in, or the property investor types... or at least it used to be..

Living in Saint Kilda I find all of this rather amusing.
I love live entertainment.
This includes "fucktards", squids, Gixxer riders, Harley's etc.
I hope this western migration doesn't become a trend as I love the show!
So Strika, when will we see you out there harrassing these tools and will you post it on YouTube?
King Nicholas. Keeping it unreal.
