valve shims, where to buy

hey guys im after some valve shims as im currently rebirthing the zxr250 (again) as i need to sell her
i checked the valve clearances and a couple are out so im in need of some shims, where do i get these for a reasonalble price?????

Aitkens, Bikebiz... any kwaka dealer... they may have to be back ordered

yer i phoned up bikebiz kwaka and they said they have to be ordered,,,, i said to them well what if i had my bike in the workshop and it needed shims what happens then, they didnt answer .
might have to order them, any idea on how much?????

They use the assortment of shims they have pulled out of other bikes.... put them in yours.... then bill you for the 'parts' .......

you can buy shim sets from the states on ebay for about 120 delivered, called lyttle racing, this is what I bought for the zx6r, better to pay a buck a shim rather than ten

all good guys thanks for all the help, these zx2rs are a pain to find bits for.
but i found a guy in melbourne (precision shims) he has every diameter and thickness. and they only cost me $6 each
