I've found this forum from another member on the Z1000 forums.
My riding history is around 7+ years; started off with the ZZR250(EX250) then a RGV250, then GSXR600, R6 and TRX850, took a year off when i was O/S, and now back on a Z1000. Done a few track days & rider training on the 600's, but nowadays mostly weekday commuting and weekend curve carving. I'm planning to do a track day with this new bike so I can fully utilise its potential.
The bike is a 2003 Z1000 with a few minor mods:
* Slips on Yoshi's
* K&N filter
* 626 front end with calipers and braided lines
* +1T rear
And a few cosmetic mods like the undertray, smaller indicators and Aprilia mirrors. The bike is due for the 24000km valve check & adjustments soon. Along with the major service, I'm hoping it'll freshen up the engine response as it's a bit rough at the mo.
