I'll be keen for one of these. Wonder how they go with vibrations etc? I suppose if you mount to helmet not a problem but to bike/tank/screen/bars? Wonder if it does sound?
Alternatively... what does a non-aldi option cost?

Hmmm, Just did a bit of research and it looks like its the Oregon Scientific atc2k..
Its a good price compared to shops but heres a new version, the atc3k out now and can be had for about the same price on ebay.

yep, theres a review here.
Doesn't rate well in shock proof.. Might be ok on helmet but not on the bike.??

Re: Bike Cam - at Aldi
thats a good price (about what I paid 2 years ago for a newie)
I have one in the race car...its great (good resolution and clarity, no hassles operation)
but it hates loud noise above a certain dB level (like a V8 race engine at 7000 rpm
)

Mate you can have this one ...... we used it on the sidecar & solo's mounted in various spots & the result was pretty poor so you can have it or it goes in the bin
You know the old saying ...... you get what you pay for & these things are real old technology..... I think just get an new pod nano & strap that to yer bike would be heaps better

Rob, ya should have taken the $50 posted, he was stupid enough to offer it even though it was free to a good home, how is he supposed to learn if ya keep giving shit away?

Re: Bike Cam - at Aldi
We were interested some time back to import them, thus had about four of them over time, only to find exactly what Rob said, connection problems endlesslyrobracer wrote:I have one that is free to a good home..... they are shite .... they hate vibrations & work intermittently
