Key Found

Post by seiko1 »

Team Moto in Qld couldn't identify this key.
Now I know how much they are worth, I though it might be worth finding the owner.
Kawasaki coded key, Reg 030AX.

Mate, just drop it in at the local cop shop....... they're the only ones with access to the rego details ;)

Any local Police station will do, regardless of state. It would only take me about five seconds to find the owner. Unfortunately it isn't legal for me to do so unless you came into see me at work haha.

The key would probably get through ok due to it'e aerodynamic shape, but I think the tag would get caught in the wires........ :? :?

Ten points to Wattie, an 07 Z750 to be exact :)

I went to the local bike shops and got them to look up the rego for me (I know them) they then rang the guy who had owned it, bike was written off.

Best thing to do now Seiko is to contact Fowles in Brisbane as they do the repairable write off auctions, I will pm you the bike's vin number so they hopefully can trace it and get the key to the current owner.

I mean ring or email the cops telling them of the key and the details. They could contact the owner and get the owner to contact the finder.

Tip I got as a youngster, never put your rego on your keys. Lose your keys with ya rego on them, and lose ya car/bike.

My key's always have my first name and phone number, that's it.

Cheers
