Ok, I got the Scorpion pipe from the USA.. I have a mate over there who helps me with getting things that are not so easily found in Aus to me.. so after looking all over the place for something different for performance and not just bling, I found this pipe.. It does look excellent in the flesh.. and does sound hot.. although like 'danzxr' a little on the quiet side... I mean it still idles nice and deep, has a good note and when you push it, it really sounds nice.. but performance wise it is a perfect match...
I have the akrapovic link pipe, which I did try it with initially, but it just was too loud then.. and very hard to ride around town without drawing too much attention.. as well it actually felt worse.. as far as bottom end torque goes.. I definitely lost power with this muffler and the link pipe together...!!
However, I have another muffler.. being the carbon fibre SBK evo II 'Leo Vince', which I have put aside for my next track bike.. now this sounds good with the link pipe.. not as loud as some would like, but performance is also excellent.. as the internal bore of the vince pipe is only 55mm... and 300mm in length.. Where the Scorpion has a 60mm bore and is only 200mm in length. There is a huge science in developing and designing exhaust systems.. and loudness does not always make a better performing system...!!
In Dan's case... he has made it perfect.. as the standard akro mufflers are just way too long and quiet.. really designed for the street... but dont go any shorter Dan or you will find a loss in bottom end torque..!!!

I learnt this the hard way, then discussed it with pro's.. and now I know..!!!
Dan the pipe and the bike look awesome.. love the white ZX10..!!
