Awesomeeeeeeeeee :)
Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ...Holy shit...What a ride!

From the article in The Australian: "Last year, NSW police arrested a motorcyclist who allegedly sped past police cameras near the Spit Bridge in Sydney more than 2000 times while covering his rear number plate with his hand to avoid detection. The motorcyclist was finally arrested and charged with 62 offences after a policeman recognised his clothing and motorbike and saw him speed past a camera with a hand over his rear plate. The motorcyclist lost 200 demerit points and was fined $7500. "

OUCH!!

The sad thing is that we shouldn't even be happy about the idea being scrapped - they should never have considered it in the first place. There were and are very good safety reasons why we (and the rest of the developed motorcycling world) don't have front plates. Now they probably expect us to jump for joy because they spent half a million dollars to get to an answer that any moron could've given them for free.

about time...this was just something that pollies and top cops got a bee in their bonnet about
technically it was impossible (the bike industry and groups told them )

and anyway that article exposed the lie when it said...
"States are forgoing an estimated $2 million a year each in revenue from fines as motorcycles evade detection. "

....ooops
nothing to do with safety whatsoever
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!
