When a business is run that bad, it is sometimes a front...heard heaps of stories from when my father used to work in the industrial estate...jobs go through the books, but if you sat outside their shop looking for the customers, you'd never see anyone go near the place...

I.m heading into Bills tomorrow to discourage a mate from buying an R6 or anything Bill is offering, I can usually wander around pretty freely there, let know what sort of bike and I'll have a look and see if they're legit with where they're up to.

re: Im getting all excited!
After my last post on friday, i went into the city store and had some strong words with Bill.
I think i got my message through this time, i was literally shaking with rage.
Long story short, it will be ready tuesday night at the very latest.
Im not going to bother to try and get cheap gear or anything from them.
It will be a cold day in hell when they see a single cent more.

re: Im getting all excited!
Its bizarre but im not even angry this time.
Im getting so used to being fucked around by these guys,
I just got a phone call saying it will now be late Wednesday as they havent got the shims they need.
Seriously, im laughing this time, because if i didnt id be tearing shit up.
I have been involved in running a couple of other peoples and am currently involved in the family business and if i treated customers like this, id be fucked.
Why wouldnt you work out what parts you need in the first place?
How can they not have relised when they pulled the engine down that certain parts would be needed.
Considering how long i have waited for parts to come in just to be told they have to order parts.
So i figure its time for revenge.
So any and all members who are reading this, can you tell all your mates (bikers or not) and also all bike shops, dealers and anyone else you can about what they have done.
Im going to contact consumer affairs tomorrow.
Well i guess im getting angry now.
thanks for letting me vent.

well im back..damn 621 message topics..not just posts, but topics!!
damn..
neway i know ur probably pissed by now, i been screwed round like that too (on an insurance rebuild), and by all means go to consumer affairs...but reality guys is, that CA is a load of crap..its an organisation set up to listen to ppl whinge, make em feel special, & let em think sum1 actually cares...half the time they deal with assholes who think they r special, so when they actually DO get a decent, legit case, they dont do fuk all about it...
sorry to sound so negative, but i get threatened with CA every day, then Dave from CA rings me, i tell em my story,he relays the customers gripe, then he asks how im gunna fix it...most of the time it goes no further...
i hope u get ur bike back..i can imagine how upset u are...i went 8 months without mine, and it drove me nuts...ur best bet is to hope that bills get there heads out of there ass real soon!!

Re: re: Im getting all excited!
Consumer affairs could be just the thing, I had to go after the local Aprilia distributor after the front disks warped after about 10k km after after may calls trying to come to some arrangement with them wound up going to Dept. of fair trading here in NSW, then on to their tribunal.
In the end cost the distriubutor the retail price for the disks in in the form of a cheque, cost me $28 for the application and a few hours, stupid really then you think what the cost price of the disks must be.
Anyway, you may also think of taking the bike elsewhere to see if the work has been done as invoiced.

Yeah a mate of mine has his spewsuki rebuilt by a guy that does alot of racebikes and seems to really know his shit.
Im going to take it past him and just get him to look it over.
Or maybe will take it to Boltons and ask them if everything been done.
At one point i would have really defened Bills mechs. But the service manager and one of the mechs just left. so who knows how well it will be done.

re: Im getting all excited! - MAKE THAT ANGRY!
Just on a happy note, I finally got the Boke back.
I thought finally they are going to stop dicking me around, until when i picked it up, i was told that i had to bring it back for a 1000k service.
They seem to be a bit offended when i just started laughing at the idea of taking my bike back to them.
