Well what can I tell you bout the new zx6r.... as I found time today to head up north and go do some twisties on it.
Well I didn't feel to comfortable on the oem tyre's as during the week, as I had 2 moment's with it

rear wheel keeped losing traction and nearly high sided twice bum off the seat stuff thats all

...... But today was a different story, the sun was out road was nice and smooooooth and time to fully scrub in thoughs tyres......
Started at 9am meet up with Hoffy and Fred @ the Mobil, I was running a tad late due to miss calculation of distance from my new place to the Mobil.
Got there around 9:15 am and filled up, quickly said hi to the boys and decided to head to the PITS cuase the hoff man was hungry, well I wasn't going to stand in the way of a hungry man!

.
So off we went towards the PITS bike felt very stable and seemed hold a very good line the bike has no guts till bout 6k, then when you hit the green zone around 8 k hang on she starts to pull like a frieght train.....

got to the PITS and meet up with Brian and Joe, and yes the Hoff man had his scones, cream and jam. After bout half hour we headed down for a lap tp the Slab! well hasn't the old road changed not so much of a old road no more, all nice and resealed like a baby bottom, as I was heading down the hill I decided to take it quite easy to get some heat into the tyres, by the bottom of the hill you could say it was enough there to start riiding at a nice fast pace...

. As we headed over the mooney mooney bridge and into the next section the tyres where ready to rock

. I was sitting behind Joe going through the twisties and was thinking to myself wow! what a bike hold lines very well could had fault it at all power was very good and I wasn't even pushing it AND thoughs brakes on the 6 F@#$k ME!

I think they are a little bit to much for the road, I went to scrub a little of speed by using 2 fingers and just applying the initial grub and she just wanted to stop! little nose drive as well.....
As we approaching the slab we got a signal that there was a Plod ahead so we backed off the pace

. just before we got to the slab we seen him going to oppisite direction by the time we stop he was coming back the other way eyeing us out

Sat for about another half hour before heading back to the PITS for some water as it was starting to heat up by now.... heading back was pretty much a nice easy pace

as we where coming back up the hill where the 2 lanes started as I was putting a bit of a light show for Fred ( Sparky's ) Joe coming flying up on the inside lane and passed me so I backed off so he could get in front to chase the Hoff man.
So the verdit on the Bike is WOW! it's a awesome thing can't wait to get back on her again. The only I would change is the tyres cause I preffer Michellin's better... they just seemed to have better grip from cold
Cheers
