hello everyone,
i am still on my Ls....i have dropped my kawasaki 250R (2008) on the right hand side while making a really slow turn this morning. (tram tracks and wet surface) The right farings/side has been scratched here and there (you can imagine) , and my right signal lamp has came off as well.
I live in melbourne. Wondering if anyone knew of a reasonable place to send my bike to for detailing/repairs, and how much would this usually cost? I have bought my bike from Sharptunes Kawasaki, do you think i should bring it back there? its also a $$ issue.
I will try to post some pictures later tonight.
thanks in advance.
Biked fell while turning. Where next?

Welcome mate - depending on the extent of damage I wouldn't bother fixing it (unless you're desperate for an immaculate bike).
The right indicator will probably just pop back in (again depending on the damage) - leaving you with just some scratches.
Beyond that I'm sure the vic's will have some shop suggestions.

As posted on the other forum, Melbourne Motorcycle Fairings is the joint in Spotswood, as also stated above, unless you're desperate for an immaculate bike just give it a polish and deal with it, will cost more to fix than it's worth I reckon.

Re: Biked fell while turning. Where next?
hello everyone!!:)
Hmm, i have actually thought i have posted quite abit on this forum but i was wrong! I have mixed it up with the mazda forum which i quite active in.Yes i know, motorbike and cars dont mix!
I have actually thought of ringing up my insurance company tomorrow and see what they have to say...it's comprehensive insurance..hmm..
I would still need to fit my right indicators thought, the whole indicator has fallen off and i cant seem to put it back in. The right signal indicator on the 'dashboard' does not blink as well when it's activitated.
With the part on polishing the bike, could scratches from plastic be removed after a polish??
Thank you everyone for your warm welcome!
