Yea i did the most today at Loftus and passed! (Actually i ACED it) got 100% in the test, cant believe i nailed the U Turn when if i pushed my bike on full lock it wouldn't make it in the space... Basically took everyone stock standard advice for everything here and i Leaned the facker! Worked a treat.
It was a very good day learnt heaps and the instructor was a really good bloke. I will hopefully improve my buffering and was told i drop my head when cornering and I need to keep it upright Also need to work on keeping steady throttle and looking FORWARD when cornering! Im sure ill get pounded for that last few at my intermediate cornering course with stay upright tomorrow at Oran Park.
Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ...Holy shit...What a ride!

Congrats Monkey!!! Good work with the U-turn, i didn't bother using my ZXR for the test and when i practiced i couldn't even clear 2 parking spots !!! Let us know how you go 2moro.
When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...
congrats mate for others that cant make the U turn remember its always better to go outside of the line than to put your foot down when putting your foot down u tent to skip and put your foot down 2-3 times before stopping thats a fail if u go over the U turn line u still have plenty of points left everyone thought i was mad when i was telling them how i was going to tackle the course and i nailed everything else and passed
Well done dude, congrats, dam all these people getting theirs I really will have no excuse to get mine.
10 Green ZX6R
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.
Dizzi do it on there bike, a postie bike or ride over the U turn line do your head checks and you'll pass just DONT PUT YOUR FEET DOWN when putting your foot down the first time is 2-3 points than second time is 4-5 points on top of the 2-3 and u usually skip your foot in a turn and trying to stop to hold the bike up so keep this in mind i think u have 7 points to start with or your allowed 7 points

Congrats D Monkey, it's always good to see someone get through.
I don't necessarily agree though gazza. You are always better off doing it on your own bike I think. It's the thing you're most familiar and comfortable with and any LAMS bike will easily go through the Uturn with practise. Students tend to get all panicky about making the Uturn but it really is no big deal.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

out of my group there were 8 guys one 1 guy made it thru the u turn i rode outside of the line and the other 6 guys put there foot down scoring points the guy who had made it was using the hired bike CB250 i think it was everyone else were on hyosung GTR250-650,honda CBR250,kawasaki ZXR250 and a virgo during the practice runs none of us could make the U turn it seemed impossible we watched the lady (instructor) do it she had to lean right over to the left over the bike and lean the bike right over to the right to do the right hand U turn
