Was awesome to see you too Ali.

Sorry we missed you Wayne, but not to worry we got many more practice sessions to go yet.

Huge thanks to ijuschill and pinchy for giving great pointers and advice, feeling much better about going for the test and the practicing was much better than the first time one practiced which is a good sign of improvement, still got a huge practice session for the u-turn but we'll get there.

Also a huge thank you to Dave#3 (I know, I know I say it but seriously mate you rock) for the words of knowledge over the phone to get Hulk Junior going again after he had a kunipshion at the lights at Mount Ku-ring-gai and decided he was not taking me any further  bit of a scary experience but he got going in the end. Mr Dave#3 to the rescue again. :D :D

Ohhhh dude so scary, came up to the lights at Mount Ku-rin-gai and he just konks out and wouldn't kick over. The funny thing is I make a joke of the fact that he whines during the day when I ride him, well today there was no whining, didn't even twig to it till Dave recommended that I open the tank as it was possibly a ........ dam it can't remember exactly what he said, calling ijuschill for the exact wording  but it had something todo possibly with the carbies and tank pressure, bascially the fuel wasn't possibly getting through, but yeah, once I get some money have found a new mechanic so might get him to have a good look at da boy, but he made it home ok in the end, and thank goodness it wasn't far from home.

Ok - got me intrigued as to what the problem was...
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

Carby bikes/cars used to get a "vapour lock" ........ not sure what happens with EFI ? Vacuum ..... because of non-vented fuel caps ( damn greenies ! ) ? dontknow.gif

That's it, that's it yeah Dave reckons it was a vapour lock and a lil air in the carbies, my bike whines which is what helps release the vapour lock, and he didn't whine all day and I was practicing for most of the arvo for my p's, and normally if I am riding him heaps he whines when I stop, so it wasn't until after we opened the fuel tank started him up, closed the fuel tank and then on the way home he started whining again, I haven't been downstairs to see if he has been whining again, but might open the fuel tank before I take him for a spin tomorrow again.

Glad to hear it went well.

Really disappointed to have missed it - it seems like whenever I plan to do any riding it gets canned. Might have to look at making Fridays my day to ride.

Looks like mum might be spending some time in hospital again. Will see how she goes overnight.
