What steering damper for a ZX6R 95-97

What steering damper for a ZX6R 95-97

So what steering damper kits are you guys getting for this model 95-97 ZX6R , what stroke is the damper so if I have to I will buy a damper and have a mounting kit made ????

Hi Devo, I've got an Ohlins on my '98 zx6r, it mounts using the bolts which secure the front of the tank and via a post to the right hand frame spar, I can take some photos tonight or over the weekend if you're interested.

Good stuff Ol Mate, Now off to eBay to see if I can get a damper ;) Then I will see my mate up here to get things started on the mounts.

where did you get the mount for that one? Also hows the clearance on full lock with the clip ons mounted under the triple trees?

Came with the bike Owen, clearance for the post is no problem at the track at least, I also don't have the H bracket on, bike also came with a graves bracket which replaces it.

So tempted to move the clip ons down :twisted:

already removed when you got there Owen.

Depends on your riding but moving them down is not that low compared to some of the new kit out there.
