Re: My turn to post an offage :(
I was going at pretty close to 60, at that section of the road too many cars for me not to be doing the speed limit.
Yea it slid along the road on the peg/gear lever.
Nah glen, no way... he went a hell of a long way out of his way to come and help me.

Crash knobs seem to have worked pretty well - lets hope it's fixed quick for you.

Re: My turn to post an offage :(
oh that's right... thx for the reminder.. had to post on that. I have no scrape on my body, I scraped through the pants and the jacket so both are destroyed. The part that was really scary is the gloves, I ended up breaking through the material and scraping my hand a little, got me thinking if I was going faster I wouldn't have had and hands left
They were the RST gloves people were talking about some time ago.

Ice B-ry. Make ice your friend. Massage and heat will only encourage more bleeding at this stage.B-Ry wrote:so I had dencorub very handy
Sorry to hear about going down so soon after taking up riding but as others have said, it's good that it was a minor one. Hope you're feeling better and the bike is fixed fast.

As Nelso said... + compression and elevation. Hope you are OK soon - but do go and get a medical check ASAP.Nelso wrote:Ice B-ry. Make ice your friend. Massage and heat will only encourage more bleeding at this stage.B-Ry wrote:so I had dencorub very handy
