Post by netbikes »

Hi all, I have a 83 GPZ750 A1, have seen on ebay US a inner front fairing cowl for a 84 A2 model. Wondering if it will fit my A1, anyone know?........ thanks

an inner front fairing cowl....is this the small bit down the front in the middle ?? If you can give an *exact* description, that would be great :kuda: - the A1 only came with the top fairing as a stock fitting, where the later ones came with the lower 'full' fairing...

I'd say the chances of it fitting straight up, would be pretty good. Not really many changes between the A1 and A2 models, apart from the addition of a lower fairing and some cosmetics......by and large they were the same bike.

I have bought it, fairings have different/extra inside mounts but outer same so I reckon I can sort something out.

Started bike first time in garage the other day with those 4 into 4 pipes, sounds awesome, like a race bike:-)

Cool thanks for the link - those pipes look pretty interesting !! I occasionally run a set of 4-4 pipes with no baffles on the Black Pearl...... .....now *they* sound awesome....but not much chop for ground clearance......

Looking forward to the updates...
