the biggest bargle like feature of the 14 is its width.

but the measurements you speak of is measuring the width of the mirrors on both bikes (the widest point) measure the width sans mirrors! :shock:

Pop the secondarys and pc111 it, get rid of the torpedo tubes while you are there. It will knock about 15kg off and give you more power everywhere, to give you an idea- rolling on from 2000rpm on the dyno, at the 3 second mark (I forget which gear) stock (but down 1 tooth on the front sprocket) it made about 127hp at the tyre, mods done 168.XXhp and at some points in the rev range there was over 40% more fuel going in :shock: . Yes the 14 is a fat bastard but so am I.

40% more fuel is a huge increase!!!
so i suppose it sucks more juice then a hooker!
if you woulda moded it up with no custom map the bike prbz wouldnt run.
running nitrous on my 10r is only 15% fuel increase.

Yea I thought he was full of it until I got it out at 4k it went from so soft you wondered if there was something wrong with it to the tank trying to punch you in the face. So I am now inclined to believe him. And yes it uses about the same amount of fuel as my factory turbo landcruiser but rubber is where it really costs more.

how many k,s do you get out of a tank???
how many about out of a rear tire???
ive only done 2700ks, on my zx10r get bout 180ks outta a tank less if i ride hard.
-1 on front and pc5 killed fuel economy!

It averages about 10km/L (according to the computer, but it is down a tooth on the front sprocket) less if you are up it a bit and I can eek 5000 km out of a set of power 2ct's, both front and rear are rooted at about the same time the way I ride it.

I am lucky to get that out of a set of front and rear and my bikes stock :shock: .

Did you say that the base reading for a zx14 was 127rhp?

No that was just for a given point in time during a roll on, stock it made 170ish peak.

Hmmm, whoever said they are a wide bike hasnt seen it next to the half-mini-pretender-barge (9R) :shock:
The 9 is wider and some, and Steve, lean that farker :kuda:
