It won't fall off !!!! I've used an Ixon tankbag for several years (with weaker magnets), and it stayed on the tank (fully loaded) even when the bike fell over. 
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

yesterday purchased the ALDI tankbag and the GPS, seems like great value.

There's some bike GPSes at my local Aldi still (Hurstville). They have been discounted to $150 each.
