Firstly, might be worth trying unless already tried and decided against, how about '10 years old and acting it" goes under the logo etc on the right (left).



Secondly, my 2 cents. I think the 'blood sweat and beers" advocates are missing the point.

KSRC ISN'T entirely made up of rough and tough guys (anymore?). It's actually a very diverse group of people, many of whom don't relate to Blood, Sweat or Beers.

I'd say they're all staying quiet on this issue because the majority has spoken in the poll and that's enough.

I'd also suggest that for the sake of the future of the club in gaining new members etc, in light of the current media-sports people-alcohol-bikie blitz it's probably not a good idea.

My 2nd 2 cents

As a devout practicing Muslim I can't wear something that promotes or endorses alcohol unless I'm forced to. (this isn't anything to do with what I was saying before)

I'll still buy them, and probably put a black patch over the section and it'll look passable, maybe others might not buy the shirt because of it????

Anyways, because of this I also understand all too well that other people might not like the reference.

Maybe because them/close family are reformed alcoholics (I know a few),
have have friends or family members die of alcohol induced problems (I have a couple)
or have alcohol related domestic abuse problems and lives wrecked in the family (I know a few),
or don't want their kids thinking they're dad/mum thinks it's all about drinking beer,

and might not feel comfortable wearing the shirt proudly day in day out.

I'm sensitive to this but it's my opinion and that shouldn't threaten anyone. Australia's got big alcohol issues and I don't mind highlighting it.

I'll buy 2 or 3 of which ever one gets chosen and wear them proudly.

Hey I'd be EXTREMELY EMBARRASSED if anything got changed/decided on because of what I think, being in the minority of the outspoken people! I'm also DEFINITELY NOT trying to gain any supporters.

I'm not passionate about what goes on the shirt, just enjoying the discussion about differing opinions

I was assuming it's gonna go with the voting so all of this is just talk right? Even if the discussion led to a decision It should definitely go with the longer-term and more active club members!
