SERENA
Gender: Feminine
Usage: English, Italian
Pronounced: sə-REEN-ə (English)
From a Late Latin name which was derived from Latin serenus meaning "clear, tranquil, serene".
Very very nice, gotta luv that colour.
By the way barge in Italian is Chiatta.

Serena as in Serena Williams: big, black and powerful. There's nothing tranquil about a ZX14.Daz9R wrote:SERENA

it is 1.5mm from the bottom of the wear indicators. The wear indicators should be 1.5mm high. So, once the tread is level with those indicators, the tyre needs to be ditched. In reality, the tyre should be replaced well before it gets to that level!
Oh, and *SCHWING*!! Very, very, sexy. Easily the best looking beast Kawasaki make at the moment.

The point is that they don't have qualified persons doing the inspections in the first place.
There was no-one authorised to sign a roadworthy on site even though I had booked a week ago.
They WILL pay the price for making me drag my sorry arse out of bed early on my RDO

Thanks to all for the wellwishes too

Re: Introducing "Serena" (Finally)
Hye Steve, faark I'm glad you got the plain black one!! Now I won't have to take the piss outta ya about your flame job!!!
Love the bike mate...it's horn!!!!!!
As for the "RED" key!!! Don;t fuckin lose it mate!!!! The red key is the key needed in order to code any new keys you get cut for it!! Otherwise the ECU won't recognise the new key and NO START!!! So store it somewhere where you will never forget or lose it!!!
Also, sometimes for no apparent reason, the computer has a hissy fit and won;t recognise your black key, then you can use the red key to recode that!!! Have fun and I can't wait for you to give me a ride on your new girl!!!!

Re: Introducing "Serena" (Finally)
Went and got roadworthy at another place, 15 min's in and out.
That "other shop" is liable to lose license and $20,000.00 fine for allowing unqualified to do inspection
so I don't think they will chase me for the money for their first effort.
The new shop is 5 klm's away and it took me an hour to get there
Go figure
Talk about Big, Black and POWERFUL...........ugh, ugh, ugh! Torquey as! Holy shit Batman, wooooo-hooooooo I'm so Impressed

Re: Introducing "Serena" (Finally)
Just check the first place did'nt do, or will not do a FAILED notice if you don't go back........ Ring em and tell them to fark off or you will dob em in for not using a qualified tech for the inspection. If they do a FAILED and the 2nd place passes it, heads might role.............. So I would ring the 1st place and put em off lodging a FAILED.....Then wait a little while and dob the barstards in anyway...seiko1 wrote:Went and got roadworthy at another place, 15 min's in and out.

VERY NICE BIKE, I wanted the 14 after selling my 2001 ZZR1100, but settled for the 10, cause she who must be obeyed, minister of finance and sexual favours, would not allow 2 bikes in the shed and I need a tracky .......... enjoy your ride........
