Here is the response I received, mainly for those Vic Members, who wanted to know about being able to just participate in the Track Day portion of the Road Trip.

Apologies for the delay getting back to you. I hope you had a great Christmas?

The event is not designed for those from Sydney (as they have to ride back again afterwards!) so there is a bit of traveling for all involved. I have been involved with events like this for many years and find that people tend to gather together in different parts of the country and ride down to the starting point as a group – we have already had interest from groups in QLD and WA for Roadtrip.

Unfortunately the PI GP circuit has a maximum capacity of 250 riders and it is looking highly likely that we will get that many riders registering in the Roadtrip, so there is unlikely to be any position for people to meet with us at PI. However, having said that, I am happy to start a waiting list!

It may be important to note that the $300 entry fee will not only cover the track day costs but will also cover meal expenses along the route, and we are heavily sponsored to cover other expenses and giveaways throughout the event.

I am sure it will be a great event and hope that you or some of your members will be able to attend. If you have any other questions, let me know.
