+1 on the tank bag. I use it every day for work. It even breaks down to smaller bags and has i water proof liner that tucks away.
Dont know about their 300 piece drill bit and plugs set for $5

i use the tankbag occasionally. But it seems the base section is a real prick to get on there. does graphite lube or just general use make it any easier? i find i can spend a few good minutes dicking with it and getting it on/off.
Easier to throw another bag on there instead (unless i need to break it in)

Re: Motorcycle offers at Aldi this week
to be honest i never had a problem with it.
The first time i put it on, i spent about 5 minutes figuring out how to center it and finding the best position for it so its out of my way.
Now, i just hold up the magnetic flaps so they dont stick, line up the bag with my tank, then drop them magnets down, takes me 5 seconds to get it on.
and to pull it off i just grab it from the handle and start pulling back. Maybe yours is still new and needs to be broken in

Re: Motorcycle offers at Aldi this week
I had the tank bag, thought it was great. Especially the little part one one end which comes off like a small bag you can carry around. Very Handy, for a girl anyway.
I have the bike cover which is great, the socks, love them and the wet weather gear which I haven't worn at all and will probably sell on ebay if I ever get off my arse and learn how to do it.

Yeh +1.
I got an Aldi tank bag last year and it is great. But I also got a $2 piece of felt to protect the paintwork. I reckon the base will mark without it.......

Was there yesterday and found something else. They had a weather station with remote sensor that read temp, humidity, barometric pressure, rise and fall in pressure - it even told the time!. All for $50.00.

Re: Motorcycle offers at Aldi this week
Dont buy the boots .... the soles/souls?? are way too soft (wear out) , the zip sux and the stitching is shit house . .. even for $89 . .
The helmet has . ... ABS? ... well, I guess $89 is cheaper than installing anti lock brakes to the bike
Tank bag rocks ... extremely strong magnets and good construction ... still using mine
