97 zx6r What to look out for?

Post by Disco »

My brother has been searching for another bike and one has come up pretty cheap...

It's a '97 zx6r with @ 67,000 on the clock....

What he want's to know is will it go for much longer? e.g is it a huge amount of km's for this model bike.

Is there any problem's they have that he should look out for?

Any advice appreaciated....

Dave... :kuda:

My advise is you get what you pay for. How much is he going to score it for ??????
Least amount of money buying can sometimes lead to more you have to spend in
bringing it to where you want it.
there is one on eBay at the moment which I thought was a good price item number 280367304107

67thou is bugger-all really Disco - as long as its been serviced properly and had regular oil & filter changes mate, it should be fine for 2 or 3 times that :kuda: :kuda:

I recently arranged the sale of a 97 ZX67 for a mate of mine here, sold it to one of the girls on CanberraRIDERS - it has about 51thou on the clock, and still sounds (and runs) sweet as a nut.
