the curves in leather look great from behind :)
Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ...Holy shit...What a ride!

Just to add, I don't believe in "boys only" rides. What with the need to segregate???
I think it's not about boy only rides, it's that sometimes people need some "me" time, and a bike ride offers that.

I will say again there is nothing wrong with girlies riding.

Mike has it in one. Sometimes i want to get out there and be by myself and riding can offer that, some guys may be afraid if they get a chick that rides 1) maybe their ego is bruised if she rides faster than him or 2) he can never get time away from the woman as soon as he reaches for his lid, she does too and off you BOTH go. Either way, htfu, i know im a extremely average rider and don't push the envelope much at all and if im slower, the bastards/bitch can wait for me at the next stop!

Other times i would love to take Michelle on the back and go out together and just go somewhere together for lunch or something, but unfortunately she gets a stonking case of pillions-numb-arse even after i bought the zook with its semi couch posterior. At least its not quite as bad as when i had the gpx though! As to her riding on the road, no chance, she thinks there are far too many maniacs out there.

So I learned a lot from this little freakout... mostly that I shouldn't overreact to my misunderstanding of things people say on forums :oops: in addition, I've decided that I'm just not cut out to be with someone who doesn't like women who ride, whatever their reasons for feeling that way. I wouldn't want to change, and I have no right to change them, so we're all happy if we don't waste our time together. This, I feel, could apply to other aspects of my life as well.

Cheers for all the input, it has been an interesting learning curve for me.

Just don't bother calling unless you like birds who can outride you ;) :kuda: J.

Ahh see now you are awakening to the age old laws of nature ... particularly "only the strongest survive"

See 'Seraph' all you need to do is watch a couple of David Attenborough doco's .... imagine the [insert female wild animal of choice here .......] is you on the 12 and the non sucessful suitors are inept male riders {No teasing thin men on Royal Enfields allowed either!!! ..... it's not ethical :lol: :lol: }.

I think many of our femme KSRCian's would follow a pretty similar motif.....

Caution;
A Kawasaki ZX10r has a tendancy to suffer 'small bike syndrome' When provoked a 10 will buck , rear , tankslap and suck the badging from lesser bikes!!!
