A diesel bike conversion done to a Royal Enfield.
Royal Enfield Bullet Classic Diesel Review
From golf course green to motorcycle

Do you fancy a motorcycle that can achieve in excess of 150 MPG? Then you need to speak to Trevor Williams. Image
Trevor's diesel powered Royal Enfield Bullet Classic

Trevor has been involved with small diesel engines in the golf industry all his working life. In particular Trevor has worked with the renowned Yanmar small diesel engines which are commonly fitted to golf course grass cutting machines. During all this time Trevor has nurtured a dream, to fit such a diesel engine into a motorcycle, to create nothing less than a "green miracle" in motorcycling.
I love to see conversions and clever designs like this, really find it something to admire.

Not really a new idea, and wtf did they pick a Royal Enfield?

I remember reading about a Kawasaki KLX650R with a diesel conversion years ago that the Army was looking at so they could use bikes on the battlefield and not have to stock unleaded. Looked like it was a goer back then, not that you'd get much of a top speed from a 650cc-odd single cylinder diesel :).

Enfields are bloody good units.
Be fucked if you'd see many UJM's doing all that they could do. Ok so not an absolute powerhouse and not likely to take on SBK but still fulfils a role within the motorcycle world. Run on diesel - yes with modification - run on Kero - "fill er up!".
Value for money as a form of transportation is guaranteed. Cheaper than a Hyundai and a bit more fun.
Let go of your prejudices and accept that there is "beauty within" every motorcycle. They have 2 wheels and are fun to pilot - 5hp or 170hp.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.
