You will need the brembo Banjo bolts as the thread is not the same .
+ get the Bolts with the pressure switch intergrated..... much easier to use.

Its much neater to get the brembo banjo bolt with pressure switch (remember you need the double not the single!). You could try getting a pressure switch bolt to run from one of your calipers, but would need to run the electrical cable up along the brake line. Wouldn't look so flash... There ain't no other option :( Probs have to order from the US as I couldn't find one in Oz anywhere but if you can let us all know!!!

Here is a pic showing the banjo with the switch. I got it as the same time as the MC. The two wires terminate in spade connectors that plugged straight into the factory harness. The 19x20 with zx14 callipers is awsome. The first time I went for a ride I did a little 120 kph stoppie. It's that much better than the standard setup.

I got it at the start of '08. As I recall it cost me $320 new from the states.

dont bother with the M/C mate.

just the stock m/c and the braided lines with the nissins are awesome. track and street. :kuda:

I would have to agree with Wattie on this one. I got the mc before the calipers because all of the US forums I checked when I first got the bike were all saying it was the way to go, and it did help. But I have felt Watties brakes and I would say that my improved braking is 20% mc at best and the rest the calipers.

My own findings were that at sensible speed on the road, 06-07 brakes were fine. On the track though, horrendous fade after 1-2 hard stops, with the lever coming back to the bar (this after changing lines and m/c). Installed the Honda calipers (07 CBR1000) last weekend, to go with the AP master cylinder and kevlar lines, looking forward to seeing if/how they improve and what the feel is like at a track day.

Cheers,
Brian

As you may have read I've got the brembo master cylinder, hel braided lines and zx14 calipers = Awesome. But I have tried it without the brembo m/c and it is pretty much the same. So save your cash and don't get the brembo m/c. You could spend the cash on a set of crg or pazzo levers, they're pretty cool but also not necessary.
