My Z750 so far..... Now With Pictures!!!

Post by gumby190 »

Hey all,
I have a 2008 Z750 with a few things done to it at the moment.
So far I have a Tail Tidy, LeoVince Carbon Fibre pipe, Carbon Spools, little arrow indicators & Bar End mirrors.
I also have an Ermax screen on it's way, will be getting a hugger & belly pan as cashflow permits.

I had an incident with a hole in the ground, no footing & my bike a couple of weeks back.
Damage was a scuffed ducktail, scratched engine case & a slight twist in my bars.
Well I polished the raised part of the engine casing, got the ducktail colour matched & resprayed & decided on something a little different for my bars.

I picked up some RBK Alloy Fat Bar mounts, Renthal Fat Bars & some Gel grips, looks sweet & bars are about 8mm higher, same width.

Now I am looking for a steering damper, I have found a Hyperpro for about $700, but cash is a bit tight & would like something about $200 less.
Does anyone know of any about the $500 mark?

Also I has seen a few side mount dampers, what is the difference besides position?
Are these able to be mounted on a Zed?

Yeah the pipe has an awesome note & I love the burbling noise it makes on decelaration.

As for keeping the wheel in the air, well it is a Z750 so it is a tank not a wheelie machine.....................

Well I have just put some more bits in/on.
  • 1.Fuel Commander
    2. K&N Filter
    3. Alloy Oil cap
    4. Stainless Radiator Guard
    5. Dremeled the Airbox a little
    6. 5000k Ultra White Lights
    7. Ultra White Led parkers
I also got my seat retrimmed with 10mm of extra foam(medium density) as I swear the seat on the Z750 was the most uncomfy thing my arse had the displeasure of sitting on. Also got some high grip jetski material put on instead of the original, cost me all of $60.00. :D
I am still waiting on my ERMAX screen & will be picking up a belly pan soon.
The FatBars are working out well comfort wise.

Will pick up a Steering Damper at Tax Time.....................

Nice example. I love the wind so couldn't put a screen on her but I understand why if you are doing constand km's. Check out my thread with the seat cowl, it looks better. Once my brother emails me the pics I'll post the tail tidy w'end photos.
