yes there were a heap of KSRC photos in the cR gallery - they *had* to be included .....

This job doesn't really need a 'video' expert, just someone who can pick a good selection of photos from within the KSRC gallery, or go through the threads, especially the track-day threads and WSB / GP threads, and put together a good photo montage......with an appropriate backing track !!
I guess putting the photos together into a movie-style presentation will need to be done by someone familiar with MovieMaker, or some other software like that.....
Its quite a bit of work - Lurch did a 'draft' version which was pretty good, but this version is much better.
I also thought, initially, that the speed of the photos was a bit too quick - but the reality is that its possible to squeeze a heap more photos in a given timeframe if you run through them quickly. Having the photos 'merge' would look cool - but may cut down on how many you can squeeze in.
I think for the homepage, it will give any prospective new KSRC member a great idea of the community here, the types of events we do, a bit of a sneak preview of some of the characters who inhabit this place
(maybe not such a good idea
) - and overall I reckon its the sort of advertising that will encourage new members.
Its also something that can be updated regularly with new photos being added to the gallery with each event, so the 'video' doesn't have to get stale from being the same for more than 12 months or so. This will also mean that new members will also get a chance to get their heads on the intro page.....
Sorry Gos, I will rephrase that..... not better, but just as good is what I meant to say
