Bodgey repairs ZZR250

Post by DMonkey »

So after noticing a quite spectacular lyre bird and decided to keep my eyes off the road for a bit to long heading down to Gary beach in the royal national park today dropped my bike into a ditch :( Luckly was only going 30 no real damage to me (a sprained wrist) bit or right hand side fairing damage and cracked mirror and snapped my peg :(
Though hopefully noting a bit of gaffa tape and new mirror cant fix! Any one here good at bodgey repairs that i could maybe come visit and help me with some DIY repairs :)
I really dont wanna spend much money cause knowing me i will most probably drop it again anyway....

Glad to hear you're ok but bummer on the bike.

I'd love to say I can help fix anything but my hands are really just a stopping point for my arms.

:D

He is recovering ok maybe a broken scaphoid, hopefully not. Bike needs a bit of plastic welding right foot peg and mirror.

well i ended up paying to get it all fixed, im fucking useless at that sort if shit, and the bike has to be "roadworthy" for my p's test! They plastic welded my fairings and got me a 2nd hand peg and mirror it ended up costing me $480 i didn't bother getting the fairings re sprayed.... Its "camo" style now lol! Well fingers crossed, the splint comes off the wrist on Tuesday and ill be back on the bike straight after that to ride to work!:) Im super excited! Hopefully see you guys in the nasho next weekend!
